Kimco Staffing Services, Inc. was founded in 1986 by Kim I. Megonigal. Mr. Megonigal built Kimco from the ground up, on a foundation of integrity, innovation, excellent service, and a genuine concern for people.

In the early years of the company's success, Kimco Office Pros and Industrial Staffing led the incredible growth of Kimco. While Kimco enjoyed a solid reputation for quality, consistency, and unparalleled customer service, Mr. Megonigal saw the opportunity to create specialized practices that truly catered to the needs of his clients and candidates. As a result, over the next 14 years, he would expand Kimco into one of the nation's largest and most respected independent staffing firms - through internal growth and acquisitions
