Kia Motor Corporation (KMC) headquartered in Seoul, South Korea and KMA, headquartered in Irvine, California, are proud to be opening their first North American manufacturing facility in West Point, Georgia. Scheduled to begin production in the last quarter of 2009, Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia, Inc. (KMMG), is located on 2,200 acres and, at full capacity, will have the ability to produce 300,000 vehicles annually and employ approximately 2,500 team members.

Retirement Savings Plan 401(k) is open to all team members after 6 months of service with a company match of 6% of the salary deferral with 100% vesting open to team members immediately. * Flexible Spending Accounts With a little planning, employees taking advantage of this program can reduce their taxes and increase their spendable income. * Dependent Care Spending Account (DCSA) One of the largest expenses for many families is dependent care. This includes day care, after school care, elder care, and care in your home. The DCSA lets you set aside pretax dollars to pay for eligible dependent care expenses and offers potential for significant tax savings. * Life Insurance We provide, at no cost to you, basic life insurance coverage equal to 2 times your annual pay. In addition to the basic life benefit, employees may elect as a voluntary program through payroll deduction, to purchase additional life insurance for themselves and coverage for their spouse or children. * Short-Term Disability/Long-Term Disability Short-term disability (STD) and Long-term disability (LTD) coverage is designed to provide a portion of your income if you are disabled and can no longer work. Kia pays the full cost of this benefit by paying premiums to the insurance carrier. STD benefits begin after 30 days and LTD benefits begin after 90 days of disability and you may receive 60% of your monthly pre-disability pay. Time-Off * To help in balancing needs of both our personal and professional lives, Kia offers 14-24 days of PTO per year depending on job level and years of service. * Holidays We at Kia celebrate 13 paid holidays throughout the year. Perks * Lease Cars All Kia team members are eligible to lease up to 3 vehicles (based on having a driving record, in good standing) with all insurance and maintenance included in the lease price. * Vehicle Purchase Program After 90 days Kia team members, their spouses, children, parents, siblings, spouse's children, spouse's parents and/or spouse's siblings are eligible to purchase new vehicles from participating Kia dealers at near dealer cost. Full-time employees also have the option to purchase off-lease vehicles at reduced prices through Kia's Company Cars department.
