Joining Gecko Hospitality was a natural career progression for Joan, with over twenty years of experience in the food industry from fast food, managing restaurants, to recruiting. Joan has worked in the food industry as a General Manager for restaurants, a buyer for Kraft Foodservice and a Sales Manager for a produce company. She brought this wealth of experience to bear in 2002 when she joined Gecko Hospitality, covering the North Carolina, Virginia and DC territories. During her tenure with Gecko, she has earned the coveted Franchisee of the Year Award and much recognition for sales achievements. She shares her success with others by serving as the District Director II with NAPS, National Association of Personnel Services, for the past seven years and is currently the Secretary / Treasurer with the Executive Board for NAPS.
