BayMark Health Services is a specialty health care organization whose core business is to provide medication assisted treatment for opioid addiction and dependency.
BayMark was formed in 2015 from the merger of two well-known and highly respected opiate treatment companies: BAART Programs and MedMark Treatment Centers. BAART Programs, founded by the Kletter family, began providing substance use disorder treatment services in 1977. Based in San Francisco, the BAART Programs brand of high-quality, patient-focused care has grown to operate 23 locations in five states. MedMark Treatment Centers began offering addiction treatment when it acquired 3 clinics in California in response to the growing crisis of opiate abuse. Over the next seven years it grew to 22 programs across six states.
Together these companies bring nearly 50 years of combined medication assisted treatment (MAT) expertise to the newly formed BayMark Health Services. The leadership team of BayMark provides quality clinical services, strong management, clinical compliance, training and consulting support services to insure the highest quality of care to our patients in a supportive treatment environment.
BayMark Health Services currently provides medication assisted treatment in 45 locations in 9 states, treating over 23,000 patients daily in their recovery from opiate addiction. Our patients have had difficulty overcoming addiction to prescription narcotics such as hydrocodone, oxycodone, Vicodin, and other medications as well as illicit drugs such as heroin. Our outpatient programs provide medically supervised treatment for addiction to prescription pain medicines and other opioids through medication and counseling.
Headquartered in Lewisville, Texas, BayMark Health’s National Support Center also provides Primary Care services and behavioral health management services. Our Primary Care teams within each subsidiary are staffed with caring professionals providing comprehensive, outpatient care.
Our mission is to provide comprehensive medication assisted treatment for opioid use disorder and other health care services to foster wellness, longevity and socially responsible behavior for the patients we serve.
We will be the national leader in medication assisted treatment for opioid use disorder by creating Centers of Excellence for addiction treatment, and integrated primary health care with unparalleled quality of care.
