American Credit Acceptance (“ACA”) is a rapidly growing, subprime automotive finance company that has been operating since 1991. In August 2007, successful entrepreneur and businessman, George D. Johnson, Jr., purchased a captive finance subsidiary from one of the nation’s major dealer groups and formed ACA.

ACA has quickly established itself as a lender of choice for deep subprime automobile lending needs in franchise and independent dealerships nationwide. We provide loans to consumers who otherwise could not obtain financing from traditional banks, credit unions, and manufacturer’s captive finance companies. ACA targets a wide spectrum of our dealer partner’s inventory, including new vehicles and used vehicles with mileages up to 100,000.

ACA continues to grow its market share and dealer partnerships through superior customer service, reliability, accessibility, and transparent guidelines and policies.

We are rapidly growing in our established markets located in Alabama, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. Our Philosophy

We are a deep subprime lender, specializing in creative finance solutions for our dealers’ credit challenged customers. We look for merit in every deal, and offer risk appropriate structures that will incrementally increase the amount of cars our dealers sell each month. Our fees can range from anywhere between 10% and 25%, based on the strength of the structure, collateral, and customer credit. Typical fees range from 17% - 21%, but equity will lead to more aggressive callbacks and pricing. We pride ourselves in providing superior customer service, transparent guidelines, and consistent buying policies. We make funding a top priority, and contract packages fund in an average of less than 2 days.
