Overview

At AdventHealth, Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ is our mission. It calls us to be His hands and feet in helping people feel whole. Our story is one of hope - one that strives to heal and restore the body, mind and spirit. Our more than 80,000 skilled and compassionate caregivers in hospitals, physician practices, outpatient clinics, urgent care centers, skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies and hospice centers are committed to providing individualized, wholistic care. Our Christian mission, shared vision, common values and focus on whole-person health is our commitment to making communities healthier with a unified system.

ABOUT THE AREA

The Kansas City metropolitan area consists of 17 counties in Kansas and Missouri with a population of nearly two million. It is known as the "city of Fountains," because it has more fountains than any city except Rome. It is a beautiful area with a rich history and offers several distinctive neighborhoods, a vibrant downtown, cultural experiences including art, theatre and music as well as fabulous cuisine and shopping.
