ABOUT THE AREA

Orange City is part of a larger metropolitan area comprised of Deltona, Daytona Beach, and Ormond Beach. Though not right on the coast, it does offer easy access to the beach and many state parks where nature lovers can enjoy swimming, hiking, canoeing, and watching wildlife. Nearby Deltona is a mostly residential community with a cost of living that is 15 percent lower than the national average. It’s convenient location near Orlando means that within a half-hour drive, you can attend live concerts and sporting events, visit theme parks, or indulge in world-class shopping and dining.
