Must be a student in an accredited nursing program or show proof of nursing assistant training, basic first-aid training, and medical assistant or paramedic training. Work with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide a calm and reassuring environment for patients and patient families. Prepare rooms for patients. Act as nurse’s assistant when needed. Respond to patient needs within the scope of job duties and escalate to relevant healthcare professionals when needed. Stock supplies, monitor patient vitals and report to team members in case of anomaly. Move patients between beds and wheelchairs and escorting them within building premises.
