Tax Staff

Examine, analyze, and interpret accounting records to prepare financial statements, give advice, or audit and evaluate statements prepared by others. Install or advise on systems of recording costs or other financial and budgetary data.

Perform routine administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers.

Interact with customers to provide basic or scripted information in response to routine inquiries about products and services. May handle and resolve general complaints. Excludes individuals whose duties are primarily installation, sales, repair, and technical support.

Certification from an accredited finance institution or bachelor’s in accounting is required. Must stay up to date on the latest tax rules to follow state and federal requirements. Recommend smarter tax strategies for the organization. Reporting, analysis, and reconciliation of financial records. Must be comfortable preparing annual financial reports. Assist with all tax-related queries from inside the organization. Assist with the preparation of tax returns for individuals and companies. Assist with audits and correspond with tax authorities to ensure that the company is always compliant with all legal regulations.

Conduct quantitative analyses of information involving investment programs or financial data of public or private institutions, including valuation of businesses.

Interact with customers, business executives, and stakeholders while managing and preparing sales reports. Responsible for identifying new business opportunities and assisting customers with their needs.
