Social Media Manager (Management)

Plan, direct, or coordinate marketing policies and programs, such as determining the demand for products and services offered by a firm and its competitors, and identify potential customers. Develop pricing strategies with the goal of maximizing the firm's profits or share of the market while ensuring the firm's customers are satisfied. Oversee product development or monitor trends that indicate the need for new products and services.

Plan, direct, or coordinate the actual distribution or movement of a product or service to the customer. Coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals and establish training programs for sales representatives. Analyze sales statistics gathered by staff to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of customers.

Responsible for overseeing company and brand. Provides all or some services to customers. Establishes a budget and monitors operations. Maximizes revenue and strategies for a successful long-term business.

Manage product lifecycle from inception to product launch. Identify and select potential products. Create the vision and overarching strategy for product development. Communicate product strategy and development to all stakeholders. Establish and conduct market research and competitive landscape analysis. Generate product requirements including specifications, production timelines, launch roadmap and pricing. Create and execute effective, comprehensive marketing strategies.

Serve as chief executive and apply innovative leadership and management skills to establish and achieve corporate goals and strategies. Requires oversight of finances, operations, personnel, and all other aspects of company. May require accountability to shareholders and board members.

Maintain relationships with current target account’s leadership and decision-makers. Leverage the knowledge of the pre-sales team, marketing department, and other departments to initiate cold calls and marketing activities to engage new clients. Follow-up on leads generated by others and work to up-sell existing clients. Develop presentations to potential clients and follow-up to turn them into clients. Provide input and marketing campaigns and marketing material as well as marketing strategies. Keep an eye on the competition and develop a strong understanding of the company’s offered products and services.

Responsible for the company’s advertising and promotional efforts to drive brand awareness and resulting sales. Development, execution, and measurement of marketing plans and various campaigns through a wide range of advertising and promotional mediums. Critical functions include review, direction, supervision, and reporting of all marketing departments efforts. Communicate marketing plans and respective efforts to internal teams and appropriate external partners. As the primary brand steward, you will be charged with building brand awareness to capitalize on maximum profits and market share.

Analyze and coordinate the schedule, timeline, procurement, staffing, and budget of a product or service on a per project basis. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. May serve as a point of contact for the client or customer.
