Senior Developer

Create, modify, and test the code and scripts that allow computer applications to run. Work from specifications drawn up by software and web developers or other individuals. May develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information.

Lead a technical team in owing all technical operations. Troubleshoot technical issues that pertain to software development, engineering, and product releases. Identify and fix technical issues. Assess and address user needs. Establish end goals. Update software and applications. Oversee system notifications and conduct security audits. Monitor and audit technical staff and conduct training, as necessary. Establish all technical requirements and run all resulting activities.

Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, and develop specifications and performance requirements. May maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.

Develop and implement websites, web applications, application databases, and interactive web interfaces. Evaluate code to ensure that it is properly structured, meets industry standards, and is compatible with browsers and devices. Optimize website performance, scalability, and server-side code and processes. May develop website infrastructure and integrate websites with other computer applications.

Strong web service and UI skills are needed. Coding experience in C#,.NET, MVC, SQL is required. Experience of working in a TDD(Test-driven development) environment Integration skills using ETL tools is required. Understand, interpret and use technical and user documentation to extend, maintain or update current project features as well as documentation. Work with front-end team to make the most functional implementation of user-required features. Create RESTful APIS and similar. Provide code review for peer’s code. Solid understanding of API use for microservice applications. Appreciation of API design and versioning norms. Experience in building for scale and performance is preferred. Report daily updates in an agile working environment and in-unit testing frameworks.

Write custom scripts to help clean and validate data. Create custom dashboards that are updated when more data is added to the database. Extract data from multiple sources and perform data integration using ETL (extract, transform and load) to blend the data. Must have a working knowledge of database structure and how to transfer data from one type of data structure to another. Design, maintain and update the existing database. Generate custom reports when needed. Debug and resolve technical issues in the database. Bachelor’s degree in science/engineering or computer science or relevant experience is required.

Design, develop, and implement computer programs and software. Establish company’s IT needs and design a custom solution to meet requirements. Respond to employee IT support requests. Solve technical problems and help employees navigate the company’s computer solutions including implemented software and intranets. Execute technical activities as both a system analyst and computer programmer. Develop support documentation for applications.
