Principal Accountant

Examine, analyze, and interpret accounting records to prepare financial statements, give advice, or audit and evaluate statements prepared by others. Install or advise on systems of recording costs or other financial and budgetary data.

Responsible for overseeing company and brand. Provides all or some services to customers. Establishes a budget and monitors operations. Maximizes revenue and strategies for a successful long-term business.

This role provides strategic vision and advice to the president. And steps in as the acting president when the president is not in office. Must have enough accounting and finance knowledge to give input on the overall condition of the market and the feasibility of the company’s plans. Ability to negotiate contracts and agreements. Develop and implement management strategies and processes. Must have impeccable communication skills. Ability to prioritize without supervision and delegate tasks effectively. Create a performance-based culture and track all KPIs of all departments. Step in and provide insight to solve roadblocks and keep the company on track to meet its annual targets.

Conduct quantitative analyses of information involving investment programs or financial data of public or private institutions, including valuation of businesses.

A bachelor’s degree in accounting is needed. Ability to understand common accounting and financial terms. Collect, interpret and present financial data to non-finance professionals and managers in an easy-to-understand format. All accounting duties like filing of receipts and data entry of financial transactions. Reconciliation and creating a chart of accounts based on confirmed liabilities e.g., recurring expenses. Creating and presenting reports to management e.g., Operational expenses analysis, payroll analysis, etc, and giving recommendations. Create estimated budgets for projects in coordination with other departments and team members.
