Integration Developer

Write custom scripts to help clean and validate data. Create custom dashboards that are updated when more data is added to the database. Extract data from multiple sources and perform data integration using ETL (extract, transform and load) to blend the data. Must have a working knowledge of database structure and how to transfer data from one type of data structure to another. Design, maintain and update the existing database. Generate custom reports when needed. Debug and resolve technical issues in the database. Bachelor’s degree in science/engineering or computer science or relevant experience is required.

Create, modify, and test the code and scripts that allow computer applications to run. Work from specifications drawn up by software and web developers or other individuals. May develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information.

Develop and implement websites, web applications, application databases, and interactive web interfaces. Evaluate code to ensure that it is properly structured, meets industry standards, and is compatible with browsers and devices. Optimize website performance, scalability, and server-side code and processes. May develop website infrastructure and integrate websites with other computer applications.

Design, develop, automate, and support complex applications to load, transform and extract substantial amounts of data. Extract and duplicate business data to load into warehouse environment. Conduct testing and resolve performance problems before system is live. Determine, design and test appropriate data warehousing environment tailored to meet a company/organization’s specific needs. Extract and transfer existing data and test new storage environment once transfer has occurred. Provide maintenance support. Requires both advanced programming and design skills

Enhance user experience, improve ease of use, and solve end-user’s problems by combining interfaces and workflows using various approaches to optimize and measure applications. Understand user psychology and product specifications, Develop concept and usability testing and personas. Define the interaction model and measuring its success. Develop wireframes and tailored customer prototypes. Solve any UX problems that arise. You will also work closely with the UI designer to develop designs and communicate design ideas/prototypes to developers.

Develop, manage, and troubleshoot computer problems. Create new applications, fix “bugs”, and ensure that applications are running smoothly. Execute documentation – usage reports and cataloging challenges. Update software when necessary. Track data and respond o hardware problems. Review diagnostics and make recommendations to increase functionality and efficiency.
