Food Service Cashier

Willingness and ability to understand and follow all procedures like cleaning standards, food handling standards, and general health and safety standards of the organization. Ensure top customer service standards are delivered consistently to all customers every day. Work to ensure admin tasks are completed in every shift e.g., restocking, inventory update, and any documentation work. Work as part of a team to ensure prompt and comprehensive table waiting. Bussing tables and waiting on guests. Assist in kitchen and cleaning duties whenever required. Ability to perform paid overtime on short notice. Follow all food and beverage protocols and help get new employees up to speed.

Prepare, season, and cook dishes such as soups, meats, vegetables, or desserts in restaurants. May order supplies, keep records and accounts, price items on menu, or plan menu.

Use sanitation best practices and food safety guidelines to prepare kitchen workstations and perform basic cooking duties. Typically requires following proper storage guidelines, measuring ingredients, and monitoring stock levels. May require assessment of food quality as it arrives from vendors, preparation of simple dishes, and assistance with other duties as determined by chef.

Manage various aspects of restaurant operations and achieve sales and service goals. Typically includes communicating with customers and vendors; enforcing health and safety guidelines; ensuring adequate product quality; hiring, training, and scheduling staff; keeping accurate financial records; handling complaints; monitoring expenses; and ordering inventory. May be responsible for executing marketing campaigns.
