Financial Sales Consultant

Interact with customers to provide basic or scripted information in response to routine inquiries about products and services. May handle and resolve general complaints. Excludes individuals whose duties are primarily installation, sales, repair, and technical support.

Sell services to individuals or businesses. May describe options or resolve client problems.

Take responsibility for the end-to-end management of the branch, including minor repairs, customer service, total sales, and employee morale. Assist in managing the payroll and leave the management of the branch employees. Manage all operations and administrative duties of the branch. Develop annual budgets and manage the operational expenses. Provide coaching and training to the branch staff. Identify areas of improvement and lead initiatives to increase productivity and profitability. Engage customers and resolve their complaints personally when needed. Ensure all legal regulations are being met in the facility. Hire, train, and let go of employees as needed.

Receive and pay out money. Keep records of money and negotiable instruments involved in a financial institution's various transactions.

Conduct quantitative analyses of information involving investment programs or financial data of public or private institutions, including valuation of businesses.

Perform routine administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers.

Plan, direct, or coordinate the actual distribution or movement of a product or service to the customer. Coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals and establish training programs for sales representatives. Analyze sales statistics gathered by staff to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of customers.

Communicate directly with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and make product or service recommendations. May need to make cold calls, assist in setting sales goals and strategies, handle complaints, and conduct negotiations.
