Child Care Center Director

Enhance business productivity and operations. Assist the Director with departmental planning and daily operations. Create and institute established goals and plans for the department. Ensure compliance of internal policies and regulations. Areas of expertise for successful implementation should include but are not limited to staffing, budgeting, and scheduling. Present reporting to Director and executive team. Ad hoc/special projects to support the Director.

Helps to plan, implement, and maintain multiple initiatives. This role does not directly lead any project team rather it helps coordinate efforts of different projects. Work with teams and project managers to estimate budgets, set scope, define deliverables and timing for new projects. Manage all project teams for the highest productivity and improvise based on business needs. Predict, minimize, and mitigate any risks. Take daily updates of the projects to track the progress of each project. Work with a wide range of individuals, perform performance evaluation, apply change management principles and work on cross-project initiatives.

Interact with customers to provide basic or scripted information in response to routine inquiries about products and services. May handle and resolve general complaints. Excludes individuals whose duties are primarily installation, sales, repair, and technical support.

Perform routine administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers.

Plan, direct, or coordinate one or more administrative services of an organization, such as records and information management, mail distribution, and other office support services.

Plan, direct, or coordinate the operations of public or private sector organizations, overseeing multiple departments or locations. Duties and responsibilities include formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources, but are too diverse and general in nature to be classified in any one functional area of management or administration, such as personnel, purchasing, or administrative services. Usually manage through subordinate supervisors. Excludes First-Line Supervisors.

Reports to the CEO and is a decision-maker for all operational processes. Proven experience as a director of operations or similar is required. Plans and forecasts the budget, hiring, and training needs of all employees under the operations department. Reviews the performance of senior employees like managers etc. and counsels them to help improve their performance. Implement a long-term strategy to ensure we are well stocked for all occasions while ensuring minimum inventory cost. Manage the approved budget, and work on system and process improvements to achieve greater profitability, reliability, and customer service. Negotiate key contracts and manage 3rd party vendors. Provide high-level leadership to the teams looking after facility management and all administrative tasks.

Plan, direct, or coordinate the actual distribution or movement of a product or service to the customer. Coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals and establish training programs for sales representatives. Analyze sales statistics gathered by staff to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of customers.

Oversee operations of physical rehabilitation department and manage personnel. Responsible for ensuring accuracy of patient charges; hiring staff; improving patient experiences and departmental processes; managing departmental budget; ensuring compliance with applicable laws; and maintaining confidentiality of financial, legal, medical, and information. May require coordinating with other healthcare professionals and communicating with patients’ families.
