Automotive Sales Service Advisor

Lead the operational staff of an automotive service facility to deliver the highest quality customer service. Must be able to motivate a team and hold them accountable to established standards of service. Create customer loyalty by delivering quality service in a customer-friendly environment. Achieve the targeted sales and profits by optimizing the expenses. Hire and retain the best talent for the facility and develop the employees to be true team players. Implement the processes, and assist in developing further strategies and policies to ensure higher customer satisfaction and higher profitability. Manage the resolutions and billing team members and provide strategic support from time to time. Lead the operations team and identify opportunities to streamline processes. Work to create a better customer experience and speed up internal processes. Provide leadership to resolve all staff and customers' queries and concerns. Keep an eye on key accounts and manage them personally if needed. Manage the recruitment, training, and retraining of all team members.

Interact with customers to provide basic or scripted information in response to routine inquiries about products and services. May handle and resolve general complaints. Excludes individuals whose duties are primarily installation, sales, repair, and technical support.

Plan, direct, or coordinate the operations of public or private sector organizations, overseeing multiple departments or locations. Duties and responsibilities include formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources, but are too diverse and general in nature to be classified in any one functional area of management or administration, such as personnel, purchasing, or administrative services. Usually manage through subordinate supervisors. Excludes First-Line Supervisors.

Perform routine administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers.

Plan, direct, or coordinate the actual distribution or movement of a product or service to the customer. Coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals and establish training programs for sales representatives. Analyze sales statistics gathered by staff to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of customers.

Sell services to individuals or businesses. May describe options or resolve client problems.

Works as the lead of the parts department to ensure that all parts are available at all required stations in minimum time. Works to ensure the minimum level of inventory and minimize losses. Supervise and support staff working in taking orders, managing inventory, and managing the facility. Monitor any requests of special parts or high-priority customers and deal with them directly when needed. Forecast any seasonal increase in parts sales and manage inventory accordingly. Work and train the staff to ensure a customer-first environment. Manage the time off requests of the team and report any unpaid time off. Inform the customers of special offers and work to upsell them.
