Assistant Vice President (AVP)

This role provides strategic vision and advice to the president. And steps in as the acting president when the president is not in office. Must have enough accounting and finance knowledge to give input on the overall condition of the market and the feasibility of the company’s plans. Ability to negotiate contracts and agreements. Develop and implement management strategies and processes. Must have impeccable communication skills. Ability to prioritize without supervision and delegate tasks effectively. Create a performance-based culture and track all KPIs of all departments. Step in and provide insight to solve roadblocks and keep the company on track to meet its annual targets.

Communicate directly with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and make product or service recommendations. May need to make cold calls, assist in setting sales goals and strategies, handle complaints, and conduct negotiations.

Analyze and coordinate the schedule, timeline, procurement, staffing, and budget of a product or service on a per project basis. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. May serve as a point of contact for the client or customer.

Plan, direct, or coordinate the operations of public or private sector organizations, overseeing multiple departments or locations. Duties and responsibilities include formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources, but are too diverse and general in nature to be classified in any one functional area of management or administration, such as personnel, purchasing, or administrative services. Usually manage through subordinate supervisors. Excludes First-Line Supervisors.

Serve as chief executive and apply innovative leadership and management skills to establish and achieve corporate goals and strategies. Requires oversight of finances, operations, personnel, and all other aspects of company. May require accountability to shareholders and board members.

Serve as the liaison between the lender and the borrower. Advise and execute a variety of real estate-oriented transactions. Communicate with lenders to find optimal loans for respective clients. Identify and articulate loan differences for clients. Verify documentation. Manage loan process. Help clients with loan approval. Maintain a strong understanding of mortgage products, procedures, and real estate techniques. Develop and maintain strong business relationships to enhance business development.

Plan, direct, or coordinate marketing policies and programs, such as determining the demand for products and services offered by a firm and its competitors, and identify potential customers. Develop pricing strategies with the goal of maximizing the firm's profits or share of the market while ensuring the firm's customers are satisfied. Oversee product development or monitor trends that indicate the need for new products and services.

Responsible for the company’s advertising and promotional efforts to drive brand awareness and resulting sales. Development, execution, and measurement of marketing plans and various campaigns through a wide range of advertising and promotional mediums. Critical functions include review, direction, supervision, and reporting of all marketing departments efforts. Communicate marketing plans and respective efforts to internal teams and appropriate external partners. As the primary brand steward, you will be charged with building brand awareness to capitalize on maximum profits and market share.
