Activity Director

Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management. Licensing or registration required.

Manage day-to-day operations of program logics. Complete necessary paperwork, administrative tasks, work plans and budgets. Coordinate with program staff. Maintain records. Monitor overall success of the program. Develop and execute reporting and metrics.

Care for ill, injured, or convalescing patients or persons with disabilities in hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, private homes, group homes, and similar institutions. May work under the supervision of a registered nurse. Licensing required.

Apply administrative knowledge to perform recruitment, retention, and supervisory duties for a team of nurses. May be responsible for addressing patient complaints, disciplining staff, managing departmental budgets and assets, and creating work schedules.
