CareerBuilder’s Talent Network Offering Now Available in 19 Languages to Help Employers Build a Pipeline of Talent Worldwide
CHICAGO, November 2, 2011 – As employers struggle to find specialized talent and stay competitive, many are recruiting potential job candidates before positions are even available.
A new CareerBuilder survey found that two-in-five (43 percent) of U.S. employers continuously recruit where they might not have an open position today, but still market to candidates in case a position opens up down the line. Of these employers, 72 percent reported that continuous recruiting has reduced their time-to-hire with 41 percent stating it has shaved off at least three weeks on average. In addition, 41 percent reported it has lowered cost-per-hire with 22 percent citing a savings of $1,000 or more per hire. The survey was conducted from August 16 to September 8, 2011 and included more than 2,600 hiring managers nationwide.
CareerBuilder’s Talent Network offering, which is now available in 19 languages, helps employers build an ongoing pipeline of candidates around the globe by:
1) Optimizing their jobs for organic search on search engines like Google so that they show up higher in organic listings and drive traffic back to their site.
2) Providing automated engagement emails to target talent using CareerBuilder’s proprietary matching technology that continuously matches qualified candidates to jobs.
3) Providing a lead and candidate management tool that allows employers to send targeted communications to prospects and candidates who didn’t get a job offer, but might be a good fit for another job at a later date.
4) Delivering analytics around Internet sources of traffic and labor supply and demand to help employers build more strategic sourcing strategies.
“More than one-in-four employers say they currently have positions for which they can’t find qualified candidates,” said Hope Gurion, Chief Development Officer at CareerBuilder.
“CareerBuilder is excited to announce that our Talent Network solution is now available in multiple languages to help employers recruit all over the world. Companies are able to assemble and market to their own proprietary base of relevant and interested candidates anytime.”
This survey was conducted online within the U.S. by Harris Interactive© on behalf of CareerBuilder among 2,696 hiring managers and human resource professionals (employed full-time, not self-employed, non-government, ages 18 and over) between August 16 and September 8, 2011 (percentages for some questions are based on a subset, based on their responses to certain questions). With a pure probability sample of 2,696, one could say with a 95 percent probability that the overall results have a sampling error of +/- 1.89 percentage points. Sampling error for data from sub-samples is higher and varies.
