Farhan Yasin
President - Europe, Middle East and Africa
As President of CareerBuilder’s European, Middle Eastern and African operations, Yasin is a key driver in the company’s quest to become the global leader in online recruitment. Focused on building its presence through a combination of organic development, partnerships and acquisitions as market conditions warranted, Yasin has been instrumental in CareerBuilder’s international expansion since it began in the fall of 2006.
Under Yasin’s leadership, CareerBuilder has launched organic sites in Canada, the United Kingdom, India, Spain, Germany, Norway, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium and Romania. In addition, CareerBuilder has acquired sites in France (Lesjeudis.com), Sweden (CareerBuilder.se), The Netherlands (JobbingMall.nl) and Greece (Kariera.gr).
Prior to this role, Yasin served as Vice President of Business Development where he oversaw investments in products and services to further enhance the recruitment and job search process. Yasin also served as legal counsel for the company and was in charge of expanding CareerBuilder.com's partner base to the vast network it is today.
Pulling from his years of extensive research and experience, Yasin is an employment expert who is regularly interviewed by journalists worldwide and often extends his expertise to a variety of industry forums to discuss national/international topics such as the state of the job market, hiring practices and a multitude of workplace issues.
Before joining CareerBuilder.com, Yasin worked on various projects for Accenture as well as researched and negotiated Internet platform partnerships for DigitalWork. Yasin holds a JD and MBA from the University of Denver.
