Job Requirements

We are seeking candidates to work various shifts in our residential and adult day programs with individuals with intellectual disabilities. Flexible schedules for full time, part time, and per diem employees are available. We have days (9a-4p), evenings (3p-11p), overnights (11p-9a), and weekend shifts available. All regular employees are required to work at least one weekend day per week. All positions have potential for growth and advancement into management.


Must be a reliable candidate who possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and a driver’s license.

Must be comfortable driving with individuals in agency car; with insurable driving record.

Must be able to work in Hunterdon County locations; i.e. Clinton, Flemington, Asbury, Three Bridges, Frenchtown, etc.

Must be able to commit to first two weeks of paid training in Annandale, NJ, Monday-Friday, all day trainings (mostly 9a-5p). Training includes a number of classes and certifications, including American Red Cross CPR and First Aid.

Some college credits or experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities is excellent but this can be a perfect entry level job as well!


What Benefits Do We Offer?

Competitive Base Salary
Regular employees are hired at an hourly wage of $10.00 per hour. After three months of service (and completion of your training and personnel file), the wage increases to $10.25 per hour. There are also salaried positions for supervisory roles and exempt positions.

Holiday Pay
Substitute (per diem) and part-time employees working on designated holidays will receive 1.5 times their normal salary for hours worked. Full time employees receive an additional paid day off. The agency has 12 designated holidays per year, plus one floating holiday.

Paid Sick Time
Employees working over 20 hours per week are entitled to paid sick time based on their numbers of hours worked per week and status up to 6 days per year.

Paid Vacation
Employees working over 20 hours per week are entitled to paid vacation time. Time is calculated based on their number of hours worked per week and their position (up to 12 days per year). After 1 year, an employee will accrue an additional day for each year of subsequent service until a maximum of 20 days is accrued.

Paid Personal
Employees working over 20 hours per week are entitled to paid personal days (up to 3 per year). The time is calculated on their number of hours worked per week.

Health & Dental Insurance
Employees hired for 35 or more hours per week (full-time) will be eligible for health insurance benefits after 3 months of employment.

Life Insurance       
Employees hired for 35 or more hours per week (full-time) will be eligible for life insurance benefits after 3 months of employment.

Disability Insurance
Employees hired for 35 or more hours per week (full-time) will be eligible for long term disability insurance benefits after 3 months of employment.

Pension
Employees hired for 35 or more hours per week (full-time) will be eligible for participation in the agency plan after 1 year of service.   

Accidental Insurance
Employees hired for 35 or more hours per week (full-time) will be eligible for accidental insurance. Policy benefits begin after 3 months of employment.
