Job Requirements

Inside Call Center Licensed Loan Officers will have all leads provided as well as a generous base salary and bonus pay.

 

Job duties:

 

Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to generate mortgage applications through our various lead sources.

  • Sell current mortgage products to qualified customers through provided inbound call leads.
  • Take complete loan application and analyze applicant information to determine whether the client is likely to qualify for the desired loan program, assist in choosing the proper program suitable to client’s needs.
  • Provide guidance on the risks and benefits of the different programs available to the client.
  • Gather all initial documentation required based upon the applicants selected loan program and the application, including all disclosure requirements.
  • Keep abreast of newer loan products to better assist clients’ needs.
  • Adherence to all call center metrics such as inbound/outbound activity, schedule shift adherence, average talk time and pipeline follow up.
  • Meet minimum requirements as set from time to time on conversion Metrics: Lead to Application and Closing rates.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and variables.

Requirements:

  • Obtain state mortgage originator licenses through process of completing necessary educational requirements and passing the state mandated test.
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • NMLS
  • Minimum of five (5) state licenses  required.
  • Proven sales ability
  • Developing knowledge of the mortgage industry, products, lending practices, and regulatory guidelines
  • Maintains the highest level of sales ability and negation skills.
  • Self-directed, with developing ability to plan activities to achieve sales goals.
  • Good time management
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Computer skills with ability to learn mortgage origination and automated underwriting systems.
