Sales Consultant - Account Executive - Outside Sales Representative

Job Responsibilities

As a Sales Consultant your primary responsibility will be to identify and acquire high quality, long-term, “preferred" customers to support company growth. You will do this by giving sales presentations to prospective customers at fairs, shows, exhibits, businesses and residences. You may also ride with a Route Sales Representative on their delivery route in an effort to acquire “on day" new business.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Maintaining expert knowledge of DS Waters products and services
  • Proactive outbound communications and internal customer follow up to engage prospective clients and referrals in generating new opportunities
  • Identifying customer needs; matching needs to company products and services; and overcoming customer objections and resistance
  • Negotiating appropriate pricing and adjustment decisions within established guidelines
  • Following up to ensure new customers are set and billed as requested
  • Meeting established sales and retention objectives
  • Communicating front-line conditions and customer problems to manager
  • Creating and maintaining contracts, accounting and service documentation and logs as required by manager

Job Requirements

In this outside sales role you will have the opportunity to use your effective communication skills, outstanding personality and talent for overcoming objections as you successfully negotiate sales with potential residential and commercial customers. So, if you are skilled in cold calling, negotiating and closing sales, this is the position for you!

Additional requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Physically able to lift equipment and bottles weighing 43 pounds, as needed
  • Valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
