Job Description

Our Healthcare division places qualified professionals in Case Management, Medical Administrative, and Insurance positions. We are currently seeking a Medical Credentialing Specialist  for one of our leading clients. 

Job duties of the Medical Credentialing Specialist include but are not limited too:

  • Complete and submit credentialing applications for both providers and facilities
  • Maintain files with provider and facility P40 + A29
  • Obtain and supply information to correctly bill services
  • Track information and submit timely Q44
  • Update Primary Source Application every two years
  • Completing and re-credentialing application on providers
  • Completing and submitting group applications for any new locations or re-credentialing applications
  • Submitting notification letters to plans for new locations or any updates to facilities
  • Initiate and maintain CAQH files on Providers

Job Requirements

As a Medical Credentialing Specialist, you must be a team player and possess the ability to adapt to multiple changes in a fast-paced environment. You must have excellent analytical problem solving skills. 

Requirements of the Medical Credentialing Specialist role include but are not limited too: 

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1-5 years or credentialing experience
  • Experience with provider and physician side credentialing
  • Familiar with CAQH
  • Next Gen or some Electronic Health System experience
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
