Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Program Manager, Psychiatric Rehabilitation for the Our Mission Is Yours Program. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:45am to 4pm or 8:45am to 5pm with Saturdays and evenings as needed.


GENERAL OVERVIEW OF KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


This position is responsible for assigning, reviewing and coordinating service for clients. In conjunction with the Our Mission Is Yours Director, the individual is also responsible for tracking and monitoring staff productivity to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies’ requirements and WES policies and procedures.



ESSENTIAL & CORE FUNCTIONS:

  1. Provides direct supervision to program staff.
  2. Maintains productivity requirements for the unit.
  3. Oversees clinical documentation of the program.
  4. Assists the Our Mission is Yours Director in managing the annual budget allocation with the responsibility of keeping the expenditures within the allocated projections. Assists the Our Mission Is Yours Director in unit budget and preliminary budget documents.
  5. Assumes the security, maintenance and safety and cleanliness of assigned program areas and equipment.
  6. Maintains the flow of complete and accurate information to MIS.
  7. Maintains and establishes linkages with other service units within the agency as well as with outside service providers.
  8. Conducts or arranges for in-service training and staff development.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.


Job Requirements

PREREQUISITES & QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:

  1. Masters Degree in Human Services, Social Science, Administration or a related field.
  2. Previous leadership experience required.
  3. Must have acceptable FBI clearance, child abuse and criminal history clearances.
  4. Valid drivers license preferred.
  5. CPRP certification within 1 year of hire.


COMPETENCIES & PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS

  1. Strong clinical skills.
  2. Ability to design, develop and modify programming.
  3. Demonstrated supervisory abilities.
  4. Knowledge of and experience with the chronically mentally ill populations.

ORGANIZATIONAL ACCOUNTABILITY & RELATIONSHIPS:

  1. The individual is to be supervised by the Our Mission Is Yours Director.
