Job Requirements

  • Record of Success:  A proven track record of accomplishments managing a high performing outside sales team.
  • Process Oriented: Ability and willingness to rollout and administer a structured sales process across a branch of field sales representatives. This may require extensive activity based monitoring to ensure that the representatives maximize the opportunity in market.
  • Manager: Ability to manage a high-performing sales team and ensure that they are performing the right sales activities through every stage of the sales funnel, on a daily basis.
  • Recruiter: The ability to recruit and screen candidates in order to identify high potential sales representatives within your market.
  • Coach: Experience coaching and developing high potential people into high performing sales representatives. A willingness and ability to really roll up their sleeves and do whatever it takes to develop their team and help make them successful.
  • Closing Assistance: Ability to help sales representatives close sales opportunities by helping them develop their overall sales approach, manage their pipeline and assist them in select closing meetings.
  • Entrepreneurial Persistence: Takes initiative; pushes through adversity; can creatively overcome roadblocks and barriers to achieve success.
  • Goal Oriented: Extremely self –motivated; a desire to earn income based upon results/productivity. Laser focused on hitting bi-weekly sales goals.
  • Business Management: Experience with developing daily, weekly, monthly business plans for individuals and team, provide operational performance reporting, streamline processes and ensuring compliance with the company’s CRM and other systems.


Desired Experience and Qualifications

We’re looking for candidates with a track record of managing a team of high performing B2B small business sales representatives, particularly those that have managed a product with a short sales cycle.

 

Education and Qualifications

College degree required

5-7 years of experience in sales management
