Financial Services Representative - Full Time - North Austin


We are seeking candidates for our client in North Austin, a major banking and financial center based in central Texas. This is a professional call center environment with a positive atmosphere and casual culture. Candidates will be expected to be able to provide excellent customer service to clients of the financial institution, displaying exceptional phone etiquette and an ability to communicate clearly, demonstrating knowledge of the products available and services provided.


Overview:

  • Answer all incoming calls within the established ring time and assist members by providing accurate detailed information and /or processing various types of transactions
  • Provide professional service with excellent phone/ listening skills to enhance service.
  • Research and resolve member issues, by following applicable policies and procedures.
  • Utilizing corporate path processing, open various types of accounts and/or shares, checking, certificates, and Money Market accounts for members, offering products/services in bundles in order to increase services per retail members
  • Assist members with account and/or loan inquires, rate information, products and services, request for statements and any other products and services information
  • Discuss/counsel members that have questions relating to accounts, loan payoffs, and stop payments, and/or error resolutions after completing any necessary research
  • Attain and maintain knowledge of all credit union products and services through effective use of OWL, Products and Services Guide, and training as offered
  • Utilize internal database system to access complete member profile and record pertinent information.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum six months in a customer service/call center role
  • Skilled use of phone system, computer, and all related software
  • Basic math skills, excellent verbal and written skills, research, and problem solving skills.
  • Bi-lingual a plus
  • Banking experience is essential
  • Must have good credit!


Monday – Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm and rotate every other Saturday 10:00am to 1:00pm

$13.50-$15.00 per hour
