                                                          Business Systems Analyst


Serve as the key conduit to business users for requirements and analysis, and work with Solution Architects and the Architecture organization to define and manage requirements.
•    Translate business requirements to functional design
•    Prepare and document Functional and Technical Design specifications in adherence to the standard Client methodology.
•    Responds to and performs impact analysis on requests, expected to assist with estimates
•    Act effectively as the technical speaker to the business project team, able to represent IS at all levels within the business stakeholder community
•    Provide inputs to test planning and execution
•    Participate in the development of implementation strategies and plans with business units and IS
•    Document and provide knowledge transfer to the rest of the project team for all solutions

Job Requirements

Core Competencies:
• Communication: Builds and maintains relationships with business users through clear communication of technical concepts and solutions. Ability to use Powerpoint, Word and other collaborative tools to communicate ideas between business team and IT team.

• Business Processes: knowledge of contract management and procurement processes.
• Analytical: expertise and experience in analyzing detail business data to solve problems; experienced in using SAP and Ariba is required.
• Process Design: expertise and experience in process decomposition and modeling
• Functional: Knowledge of SAP procurement functionality; knowledge of reporting and analytical tools.
• Project Management: ability to manage resources and tasks against agreed timelines.
• Balances Immediate and Longer-Term Objectives: Seeks to meet critical objectives while considering the impact of those decisions and activities on the ability to achieve long-term goals.
• Delivers Results: Continually look for opportunities to deliver value to the business, while staying within project scope and the project milestones.
