Job Description

With various locations throughout North Brevard County, Parrish Medical Group is currently expanding and looking for experienced healthcare professionals interested in joining our team.

  • Office Coordinator:  Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Office Coordinator plans, supervises, and coordinates daily practice operations.  This position works collaboratively with Physician and senior leadership to achieve and maintain clinical quality, financial viability, service excellence and customer satisfaction.   The Office Coordinator is responsible for working in collaboration with practice’s physician(s) to manage overall operations.  Requirements:  Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED; a college degree is preferred.  Successful candidates should have work experience in a healthcare, business or medical office setting with physician practice experience strongly preferred. Experience managing a healthcare setting strongly preferred.  


  • Supervisor, Urgent Care:  The Supervisor, Urgent Care is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Urgent Care practice.   Responsible for the direction and supervision of all patient care and related activities of the office and supervision of personnel, including patient flow, billing and coding and general coordination of services between departments.  Requirements:  High School diploma.  Associate's degree preferred.  3-5 years of progressive experience in a clinical, physician office or hospital setting.


  • EMR Analyst: The EMR Systems Analyst reports to the Executive Director and works closely with the EMR Project Manager to assist in coordinating EMR projects with management, users, IT staff and vendors and provides overall for deploying Electronic Medical Records systems to Parrish Medical Group facilities.  Responsibilities include workflow analysis and design; development of training materials; system customization; help desk support for end users; and project scheduling.  Requirements:  Associate’s degree required in Business, Information Technology or related field.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Minimum two (2) years experience in EMR Applications.  Health care experience preferred.    The EMR Analyst should also have expert knowledge of personal computers and PC applications. Previous Healthcare experience preferred.

  • Certified Medical Assistant(s): This position assists the medical licensed provider in providing services to patients and caregivers. Provides educational and emotional support to patients under the guidance of the medical provider as directed. Requirements:  Vocational or other technical school, certification, training or apprenticeship required beyond high school. CMA required.  Minimum of one year of experience preferred.  Experience in pediatrics, OB/GYN or Family Practice preferred.  Candidates may be required to float within multiple offices.

  • Medical Front Office Clerk for Urgent Care: This position is resresponsible for being the point person for patients and visitors. Responsible for appointment scheduling, insurance verification, collection or co-pays, filing and phone communications.  Requirements:  High school diploma required. Minimum of one year of experience preferred. Multi-specialty experience is preferred. Candidates may be required to float withing multiple offices.  Evening and weekends required.

  • Billing Follow-Up Specialist: This position is responsible for designated physicians’ accounts receivable with all payers. Responsible for entering all physicians charges on a daily basis within 48 hours upon receipt of encounter. Working all correspondences related to the patients’ account. Settle the claims between medical institutions, insurance companies, and patients. To generate the bills where the codes corresponding to a patient’s procedures and diagnosis can be determined.  Requirements:  At least 1 year follow-up/billing experience required. Has knowledge of office or operational procedures.  Follow up/Billing specialists must have an excellent knowledge of medical billing, be responsible, highly organized, and have a good eye for details. Must have the ability to perform clerical functions of the position that includes manual dexterity to work on a computer.

  • Intake Coordinator - Home Health:   the intake coordinator is responsible for facilitating admission/access to home health care services by coordinating the admission process. Requirements:  HS Diploma or GED required.  Associates degree preferred.  Minimum of 2 years of intake or case management experience in a health care setting required.  At least 1 year home health experience preferred. Preferred knowledge of Medicare/JCAHO regulations.  Preferred knowledge of ICD9/ICD10 codes and Medicare/Medicaid admission criteria. Excellent typing/computer skills including Microsoft Office Programs required.

  • Certified Professional Coder: This position reviews, analyzes and codes diagnostic and procedural information that determines Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance payments.  Performs ICD-9CM, CPT and HCPCS coding for reimbursement.  Ensures compliance with established coding guidelines, third party reimbursement policies, regulations.  Requirements:  CPC Certification is required.  At least 1 year coding experience required. Has knowledge of office or operational procedures.  Certified Professional Coders must have an excellent knowledge of medical billing, be responsible, highly organized, and have a good eye for details. Must have the ability to perform clerical functions of the position that includes manual dexterity to work on a computer.
