Senior Manager, Facility and Office Services

Job Description

Reporting to the Vice President, HR, the Sr. Manager, Facility Services is responsible for managing  active business space/property and inactive manufacturing properties, negotiating service contracts for these sites, preparing and executing CER for renovations, upgrades and expansions and providing office support activities including mail, security, office supplies, cafeteria, furniture and records retention.  The Sr. Manager directly supervises three associates.  Location responsibility for the following sites: Highland Heights, KY, Brampton, ON, Atlanta, GA, Indianapolis, IN and Southfield, MI.

We are seeking an individual with good understanding of facility management, and external contractors for maintenance of sites.  The successful candidate will have the ability to successfully inter relate with facility personnel to adequately address space and facility service needs.  The ability to work independently as well as strong leadership and supervisory skills are key.

Job Requirements

  • College Degree in Facilities Management. Planning or related field.
  • Technical training in building management, construction
  • 5+ years’ experience in building/office services management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good understanding of facility maintenance
  • Experience with negotiating outside vendor contracts
