Job Description

Mesa Springs Hospital is seeking a dynamic individual for our Mobile Assessment Director position.


Mesa Springs is a new 72 bed free-standing psychiatric and addiction hospital providing inpatient and outpatient services.  The outpatient services will include PHP, IOP and aftercare programs. This newly constructed 50,000 square foot building is located on 9.4 acres in Fort Worth TX, which opened January 2014, which is a beautiful building designed with a warm and attractive interior. Our mission is to provide the highest quality treatment services to adults, adolescents and their families suffering from mental illness and addiction.  We are committed to utilizing evidence-based treatment and clinical protocols while continuously evaluating new and promising treatment methods. Our treatment services are delivered in a professional and compassionate environment from healthcare professionals who are dedicated to motivating others to choose a life of sobriety and mental wellness.

    -  Assessing and identifying psychosocial, educational, developmental and behavioral functioning of patients through established care finding mechanisms.  
    -  Respond to crisis calls for assessments at facilities and/or physician offices within one hour of call 
    -  Completes a clinical assessment using DSM IV criteria to ensure that the patient receives the appropriate level of care to meet the patient’s needs. 
    -  Provides leadership for the mobile assessment team. 
    -  Assists the marketing department of the hospital and is instrumental in the growth of the hospital as well as the community’s continuing education needs.

Job Requirements

Education: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.

 Preferred minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a psychiatric health care facility, direct practice in mental health treatment, and crisis intervention. Must have strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge of community resources.  Previous leadership experience preferred.

Current unencumbered Social Work or counseling license.  Valid driver’s license and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance.

Additional Requirements: 
CPR and CPI certified within 30 days of employment.  Will be required to work flexible hours.
