As a member of the Hostway Marketing department, the Director, Channel Marketing is responsible for developing, executing, managing and measuring marketing strategies, partner acquisition campaigns, partner enablement programs and relationship management plans with Managed Hosting/Cloud Hosting resellers and referrer partners, SI firms, Agencies as well as, large enterprise partners such as telcos & MSOs.



  • Develop and implement annual marketing and partner acquisition plans.

  • Align channel communication strategies with brand strategies.

  • Manage channel marketing budget and measurement of campaign ROI.

  • Lead partner-related launch efforts for products, services and platforms, especially our new to market Cloud Connex platform.

  • Managed PRM platform and relationship.

  • Enterprise Partner relationship management.

  • Acts as extension of partners’ marketing teams to deliver campaigns and messaging by attending regular meetings and delivering branded collateral and campaigns as requested.

  • Work closely and establish cross-functional teams with the Channel Account Managers, Enterprise Partner. Account Managers, Product Management and Corporate Marketing and others to develop solid go-to-market promotions and strategies.

  • Work closely with technology partners to bring joint marketing and MDF campaigns to market.

  • Assist project sponsors in developing business cases for strategic initiatives and development requests.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Channel Marketing, preferably with a technology company.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong understanding of hosted services and/or SaaS, IaaS, PaaS is desirable.

  • Ability to travel up to 25% for trade shows, industry conferences, and on-site visits with partners.





  • Strong collaboration skills.

  • Ability to establish professional, long-lasting relationships both internally and with various partner types.

  • Ability to maintain organization, creativity and professionalism in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

  • Collateral assets and marketing materials development.

  • Presentation development.

  • Quantitative marketing analysis and reporting.
