and a 530-bed teaching hospital affiliated with the North Shore/LIJ Health Care
System and Stony Brook University.
NUMC treats more than 80,000 emergency patients annually.
We currently have exceptional opportunities for
full time (NIGHTS) physician assistants in trauma/surgery to perform physical and/or mental status
examinations, gather patient data; perform or assist physician diagnostic
procedures; order and interpret lab studies and x-ray; order medications and
types of treatment; make rounds alone or with physician; prepare reports and
counsel patients and relatives on various physical and mental problems.
To qualify, you must possess either NYS Department
of Education registration as a Physician Assistant or a limited permit valid
for Nassau Health Care Corporation.
