LAN & End User Support
CCS LAN support position includes:
Functions needed to maintain the school’s Local Area Network at optimal performance in collaboration with support of off-site LAN Manager
Servers including: 2008 Microsoft Hyper-V virtual servers, domain controllers, SQL, Applications, Ed, mail, and Web
Student database and testing systems
Computer/copier/printer/phone & voicemail set up & troubleshooting
End user and classroom technology support.
Audio and visual for presentations and events
Participation in school safety plan and front line enforcement in school office
On-site support of: Microsoft Windows/Active Directory and all related hardware & software and User groups with support of off-site LAN Manager
School Webpage administration
Microsoft Exchange management with support of off-site LAN Manager.
Network security and enforcement of CIPA – Children’s Internet Protection Act
PCI compliance & SSL certificates
On call system maintenance. Must respond after hours and remotely as problems arise
School photographer and videographer as needed/assigned.
Research, recommend, and implement Network Infrastructure expansions, refinements, improvements, & replacements as approved by management.
