Network Engineer needed --- Location:
I am looking for a Network
Engineer for a salaried position with an excellent client located in Dulles,
VA. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card
Holder to apply. Salary – to $130,000 (DOE)
include all facets of LAN and WAN network engineering - design, implementation,
capacity planning, L4 load balancing, troubleshooting, and interfacing with
infrastructure teams, application owners and network vendors.

services. Experience with technologies such as IPv6, VPLS, VOIP, QOS, BFD, 802.11a/b/g/n,
802.1x and related network implementations.

techniques with above-average detailed and methodical approach to
implementation and problem solving
to represent the team well, and successfully mentor others. Must have excellent
interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal) and be able to
effectively communicate technical information to a variety of individuals and
groups. Must be able to write technical
papers, assist with RFPs and perform vendor analysis. Work independently with internal parties and
external providers to resolve complex issues and ensure network availability
time management skills - successfully manage a number of large engineering
projects in parallel. Must maintain flexibility in the face of changing
requirements and work collaboratively in a high-energy team environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred.
years of directly related experience at an ISP or large network provider is
certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIS and higher a plus
in an on-call rotation. Occasional
travel may be required.
