Job Description

Advantage Tech is looking for a Project Analyst for a fantastic local company. This position is a 6 month contract with potential for hire.

 

The individual we seek most be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, working on multiple projects simultaneously, and with a prestigious list of Fortune 1000 companies. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop, maintain, update, and oversee project plans and schedules using tools established by the PMO.
  • Reporting on project deliverables and schedules in timely manner and working on overall project planning.
  • Studying assigned programs, understanding client requirements, and analyzing program goals and targets.
  • Research, collect and evaluate project data necessary to meet project reporting and evaluation requirements.
  • Provide project plan trend analysis and control including analysis, research, development and maintenance of the project data.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and project management techniques.
  • Provide recommendations for improvement of project management processes currently in use.
  • Maintain responsibility for coordination and collaboration of project events, meetings, and technical resources and third party relationships.
  • Conduct and coordinates meetings and provide project update summaries to appropriate parties.
  • Performs related work as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration; or 1-2 yrs related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in a customer facing role required
  • PMI (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), and/or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification preferred
  • Sound knowledge of fiscal planning, business case development, and contract management required.
  • Strong knowledge of program application development methodologies required.
  • Solid general management, leadership, and organizational skills required.
  • Ability to correspond both in writing ideas and orally required.
  • Ability to analyze issues and situations systematically required.
  • Ability to recommend practical ways using innovation, good judgment, creativity and strategic thinking required.
