Job Description

Global manufacturer is adding a Buyer to the Cranberry Township office purchasing team.  

Responsibilities include:
  • Receiving requisitions and converting them into purchase orders 
  • Entering purchase orders into the system
  • Responding to general inquiries regarding purchase orders and addressing issues
  • Adjusting existing purchase orders as necessary
  • Working with vendors to ensure they adhere to contracts and report exceptions
  • Assisting in the analysis of price variances on purchase orders 
  • Assisting in evaluating potential vendors

Work schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, full time position.  Pay rate commensurate with skills and experience.

Job Requirements

  • Associates degree in a business related field
  • 2-5 years of purchasing experience
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
