Job Description

The mortgage claim department is responsible for performing loss draft and property damage activities by acting as a liaison between the homeowner, insurance company, contractor and lien holder. This position is responsible for being the main point of contact and subject matter expert in claims processing.

Job Requirements


  • Experience in a customer service or mortgage company loan administration or other related fields with emphasis on a proven record in Customer Service
  • Computer proficient with efficient typing skills
  • Excellent comprehensive skills with ability to read and interpret written correspondence from a vast spectrum of customers
  • Ability to use cognitive skills in determining appropriate resolutions and effectively communicate same to customers
  • Proven ability to communicate both written and orally
  • The ability to learn quickly and effectively utilize and convey a vast amount of knowledge to a diverse account base
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access 
  • Superior organizational skills needed
