Job Description



We expect candidates to be thoroughly vetted for the COMPETENCIES. To us, the most important aspect of a candidate are their competencies. We have seen recruiters who have had no recruiting experience at all, surpass people with 10+ years of experience in a single year. With that said, however, this is not an entry-level recruiter position.

  1. Extraordinary self-starter
  2. Unusually curious and innovative in problem solving – the type that never gives up. The harder something gets, the harder they try.
  3. Driven for excellence and quality – never satisfied with mediocrity
  4. Always learning and growing – looking for better and better ways to drill into people’s abilities; learn scenario and behavioral interviewing techniques etc.
  5. Able and willing to take responsibility and ownership for their successes AND their failures
  6. Highly intelligent and educated enough to gain instant credibility with the kinds of very senior level management consultants (some with MBAs, PhDs etc)
  7. High degree of self-assurance and confidence and ability to SELL and NEGOTIATE with high powered consultants
  8. The ability to work with limited information – always learning something new. We sell into advanced, leading edge areas and a recruiter has to be comfortable dealing with new, highly complex areas where they cannot possibly be expert, but need to quickly learn enough to “thin slice" and be excellent.
  9. Superior communication skills
  10. Service oriented. While our recruiters make great money and can move into sales if they desire later on, this is a SUPPORT role. Their customers are the sales people. We are a sales driven organization.

Job Requirements

Ideal Recruiter Experience


  • BA degree
  • Experience recruiting in the staffing industry
  • Ideally IT industry experience
  • Some experience recruiting higher level management consultants
  • Has not job-hopped.
