This is a senior level position that requires senior level proficiency and skill sets. Candidates must demonstrate experience with 10G LAN switching technologies, routing technologies within a medium to large enterprise network, F5 LTM and GTM proficiency, as well as a proven track record supporting enterprise VPN solutions. The candidate will need to have an excellent understanding of the requirements to support multiple data centers and remote campus offices. This will include an advanced understanding of best practices surrounding network architecture, network security, and high availability within an enterprise LAN infrastructure.
The candidate will need skill sets to provide hardware and configuration support for Catalyst 4K and 6K, ASR 1K, Nexus platforms from 2K to 7K, ISR 1st and 2nd Gen, and wireless solutions with 5500 platforms. Candidates will be required to support F5 LTMs, F5 GTMs, Cisco ASA, and Juniper screen OS. Proficient skills are a must for enterprise level Internet facing network systems, WAN load balancing and failover, BGP support, EIGRP support, and Next-Hop redundancies. Support for VOIP and Quality of Service, External DNS, Cisco ACS and Radius profiling are required. Experience with various network management and monitoring software is a plus, such as SolarWinds and Network Instruments.
