Job Description

  • Assisting Project Manager or Estimator in preparation of bid packages and proposals (phone calls, emails, copies and shipping as needed).
  • Issuing Subcontracts, Purchase Orders and Change Orders.
  • Providing follow-up with vendors, subcontractors and clients to ensure approval and return of all project documentation.
  • Invoicing, Filing and taking Meeting Minutes.
  • Using the company accounting software to run reports, resolve job cost issues and do miscellaneous project research.
  • Providing assistance to Project Managers, Project Engineers and Superintendents for submittals and job closeout documentation.
  • Providing assistance to the President or other officer on items such as development or modification of marketing material.
  • Providing assistance to the Director of Administration on items such as front desk coverage when receptionist is absent.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of Project Assistant or equivalent experience in the construction management industry is required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, and outside entities
  • Demonstrated skills in organizing and evaluating information and in proactively finding solutions
  • Bachelors Degree or advanced course work in a business related discipline
