Job Description

*********THIS A TEMP TO PERM POSITION**********


The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for supporting the accounts payable accounting function including customer account reconciliation. The AP Specialist is expected to operate as a subject matter expert in performing the invoicing cycle for several key customer including serving as the escalation point for resolving all invoicing and receivables related issues and problems.  Accounts receivable balance monitoring and collection of outstanding, assigned, customer account balances resides within this role.  As a team member within the department, The AP Specialist is responsible for effectively managing internal and external client relationships in a professional and positive manner with a minimum amount of supervision.

Job Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience required.
  • 1- 3 years of experience required.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral/written communications, at all levels of the organization and with outside parties.
  • Capable of operating in a fast-paced environment, able to handle pressure, self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Hands-on, roll-up-the-sleeves, can-do attitude and willingness to help achieve the Company’s overall objective
