LVN Charge Nurse 

 

Crosbyton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is searching for caring and committed nurses to join our quality caring team!

 

SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE IF HIRED BY 12/31/2014

 

Shifts Available:

 

6 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Unlike nursing in other settings, long term care provides the opportunity to practice truly holistic nursing care while fostering a lasting connection between nurses, patients, and their families. Our interdisciplinary approach to care delivery puts your nursing abilities to work in many areas.

 

Responsibilities: (summary)

Works under direct supervision using the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, Company Standards, Practice Guidelines and nursing judgment.

Delivers nursing care to patients requiring long term care

Collects patient data, makes observations and reports pertinent information related to the care of the patient.

According to state-specific regulations, directs and supervises care given by other nursing personnel in selected situations.

Job Requirements


Qualifications

Ideal candidate must be a caring individual dedicated to providing high quality care to residents in the care of Crosbyton

Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an LVN in the state of Texas

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English Language

Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required.

Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.

Must be CPR certified
