Job Description

Mesa Springs Hospital is seeking a dynamic individual for our Business Development-Adolescent School Liaison position.

 

Mesa Springs is a new 72 bed free-standing psychiatric and addiction hospital providing inpatient and outpatient services.  The outpatient services will include PHP, IOP and aftercare programs. This newly constructed 50,000 square foot building is located on 9.4 acres in Fort Worth TX, which opened January 2014, which is a beautiful building designed with a warm and attractive interior. Our mission is to provide the highest quality treatment services to adults, adolescents and their families suffering from mental illness and addiction.  We are committed to utilizing evidence-based treatment and clinical protocols while continuously evaluating new and promising treatment methods. Our treatment services are delivered in a professional and compassionate environment from healthcare professionals who are dedicated to motivating others to choose a life of sobriety and mental wellness.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and conduct referral development contacts
  • Actively seeks opportunities to extend business development efforts with professionals as well as community groups/associations.
  • Assist in developing a pervasive customer service and guest relations culture within the hospital setting.
  • Assist with the development of materials and activities promoting the hospital.
  • Follow up on admissions and account activity with efforts to actively serve all related parties.
  • Continually monitor competitor information and services.
  • Attend and participate in business/referral development team meetings and submit weekly business development call reports and monthly activity schedule.
  • Assesses the needs of key customers and coordinate appropriate response(s) to these needs with the goal of exceeding the expectations of all our customers.
  • Participates in planning promotional efforts/events with the goal of maximizing exposure to key customer groups.

Job Requirements

  • We are looking for a dynamic relationship-development leader with the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Behavioral Health or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
  • LPC, LMSW, LMFT, or LCSW preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as ability to prepare and present presentations in a clear, concise and effective manner.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in health care business development/marketing environment with measurable business development results, and a knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles preferred.
  • Experience in a school setting or school counselor
  • Experience working in the adolescent behavioral health/substance abuse field.
  • Ability to detect and identify customer needs and strategic opportunities.
  • Ability to represent our high quality facility to a wide range of people and organizations in a genuinely positive manner.
  • Familiar with major Healthcare issues and trends.
  • Competent at developing and maintaining positive comfortable relationships with all types of accounts.
  • Skills in trouble-shooting, flexibility, and prioritizing workload.
  • This position will necessitate occasional responsibilities on evenings and weekends.
