Job Description

 

Looking for an energetic individual to contribute to growing company.  Candidate prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Documents financial transactions by entering account information. Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.

 

Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements. Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations. Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions. Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends. Entering data into computer systems using defined computer programs.Reconciles records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors or customers.

 

 

 

Job Requirements

Strong verbal and oral communication skills.  Two year degree or better in Accounting, or three years of related experience in a business environment.

 

Great computer skills, QuickBooks knowledge helpful.
