Summary of Job
Web.com is looking for a talented individual to serve as a Marketing Communications Coordinator to help grow its Cross-Sell program, which resides within the company’s Marketing Department. This position requires project management, excellent time-management, attention to detail and problem solving skills. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that cross-sell marketing efforts are properly executed and will be measured on the ability to deliver results relative to the financial plan.  It is critical that the Marketing Coordinator be able to solve problems independently and work with other teams (such as Business Intelligence, Reporting, Telephony, Product, Sales and Operations) and outside vendors to complete projects and meet deadlines.  This person should also excel in creative and critical thinking to execute on Cross-Sell initiatives and maximize customer response.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Flawlessly execute cross-sell email and renewal campaigns that drive significant response both through our online storefront and through our inbound tele-sales centers.

  • Participate as a key member of large cross-functional teams which may include product marketing, online storefront, tele-sales and operations to help ensure strong execution of cross-sell email campaigns (and landing pages).

  • Oversee deployment of our cross-sell email program to ensure the timely deployment of cross-sell campaigns to our customer base.

  • Collaborate with our call center team to ensure they are properly alerted to and trained on all upcoming campaigns.

  • Oversee relationships with our existing partners/vendors, specifically our cross-sell email platform provider(s).

  • Ensure there is accurate tracking of results relative to plan and adjust strategy and tactics based upon performance.

  • Write and craft explicit instructions and wire-frames for campaign ideas and marketing initiatives. Effectively communicate between our in-house creative team and senior management.

  • Additional responsibilities may be added, as business needs change.

Job Requirements

BA/BS with strong academic record
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a marketing role

  • Detail Oriented, Self-Motivated, and Proactive, with excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to partner with other departments to move projects forward

  • Ability to demonstrate a strong commercial acumen and attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven history of meeting and/or exceeding aggressive deadlines in an entrepreneurial environment

  • Experience managing multiple complex and moving projects simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Solid understanding of the online marketing industry

  • Proficient in all standard Windows Microsoft programs (Excel and Power Point)

  • Experience in an Internet-based company or industry also a plus.  Exposure to marketing channels, phrase and terms such as: affiliate marketing, email marketing, tracking pixels, paid search, reporting metrics such as unsubscribe rate and click-through rate, Omniture / Adobe SiteCatalyst Reporting, Google Analytics, List management, data segmenting.

  • Experience or exposure to creative process is a plus

  • Recommendations furnished upon request.

  • Experience using an email deployment tool is preferred
