Job Description

Orion Homes, LLC is a Level III Behavioral Health Residential Agency that provides therapeutic intervention by mentoring adults who are seeking guidance.

Program Goals:


  • To provide comprehensive mental health services for adults in collaboration with other service agencies
  • To assess and intervene with adults to reduce the likelihood of the development of maladaptive personal relationships, poor academic performance, or criminal behavior
  • Provide services that are culturally sensitive


As the Clinical Director of our Level III Behavioral Health Treatment Home, you will:


  • Perform initial in-take assessments for new clients on short notice
  • Provide individual, family, and psycho-educational group counseling by appointment, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., and select evenings
  • Provide 2 hours of individual or group training per staff per month, 2 hours of individual or group clinical supervision per staff per month, and annual staff training plans
  • Assist clients in accessing community services and resources
  • Recognize obvious symptoms of a mental disorder, personality disorder or substance abuse
  • Knowledge of treatment of co-occurring disorders and substance abuse
  • Recognize, prevent, and respond to a situation in which a client may: be a danger to self or others, behave in an aggressive or destructive manner, may be experiencing a crisis situation, may be experiencing a medical emergency
  • Identify types of medications commonly prescribed for mental disorders, personality disorders, and substance abuse, as well as the common side effects and adverse reactions of the medications


Job Requirements

  • Must be a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Arizona - Mental Health or Substance Abuse experience preferred
  • Experience with OBHL Regulations preferred
  • 2 years experience in Behavioral Health
  • Valid, AZ DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Cleared Tuberculosis test
  • CPR/FA, Article 9, and Crisis Prevention training preferred
