Job Description

This position provides administrative support to a group of managers and/or departments. In addition to typing and filing, performs duties such as scheduling travel reservations in support of managers who travel multiple days each week, coordination of meetings, obtaining supplies, compiling expense reports and working on special projects. Handles and disseminates highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Deals with a diverse group of important external callers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload, recommends changes in office practices or procedures.  Supports the organization's mission, vision, and values by exhibiting the following behaviors: excellence and competence, collaboration, innovation, respect, commitment, accountability and ownership.

Job Requirements

This position requires the following qualifications and skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • 5 years of related experience
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • A professional appearance and telephone manner is essential
  • Must have good command of the English language, oral and written
  • Normal walking, standing, sitting, bending, occasional carrying and lifting of items up to 25 pounds.
