Cooks - Experienced

The Forum at Knightsbridge in Columbus, OH, an upscale senior living community providing independent & assisted living, skilled nursing & rehabilitation, memory care & Alzheimer’s care, is accepting applications for dedicated, caring, passionate, customer-focused team members with prior experience in food preparation and knowledge of special diets, meal preparation for large groups and safe food handling techniques.  


Successful candidates must be able to prepare and serve all meals during assigned shifts including special events and large gatherings,, have the ability to perform detail work involving math calculations, read and understand menus and recipes, be able to problem solve and handle emergency situations.  Candidates must be able to work in a team environment, work flexible shifts (including weekends but only until 9 pm), manage multiple tasks at one time and communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.   ServSafe certification required.  A minimum two years prior cooking experience with at least one year  experience cooking for large groups.   Prior experience working in a senior community helpful but not required.   We have full time, part-time and on call positions available.  Only candidates meeting minimum requirements will be considered.

Uniforms and slip-resistant shoes are provided for all employees.  The Forum offers a good benefit package for our full-time staff which includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, a 401K matching program and  tuition reimbursement.   In addition, we are located on a bus line.

Job Requirements
